1. ENTRANCE:

Shipment must be entered into customs warehouse, at least five hours before the time of departure.

2. DECLARATION

Upon completing the entrance, Terminal charges to be paid to the customs warehouse office. Then the clearance is allowed to be processed to the customs house. Regularly, this process takes approximately four hours.

Note: For shipments which need quarantine inspections, nation-defenses article, journal inspections, etc. are requested to be presented to the officer concerned prior to entrance.

3. READY FOR BOARDING

          Customs release and AWB must be turned-over to the carriers four hours before ETD.

4.CUSTOMS WORKING HOURS

         Monday to Friday 08:30 - 19:30

         Saturday to Sunday & National holiday Closed

         Remarks: Customs work on Saturday when necessary from 08:30 to 12:00 and apply before pm4:00 on Friday

EXPORT DOCUMENTATION

1. EXPORT PERMIT - For shipment value over USD 5,000. Expect sample of no commercial value.

2. COMMERCIAL INVOICE IN 3 COPIES

3. PACKING LIST IN 3 COPIES

4. PARTICULAR LICENSE

Depends on regulations, such as quarantine inspection, qualities certificate, pass for scaling instrument, copy-right, …etc.

1.  F.O.B. Charge

1. HANDLING CHARGES (CH) - TWD 1,200 per HWB or TWD 850 per HWB for sample shipment (under 45kgs) .
   
   
2. CARTAGE (PU) - MIN TWD 600, TWD 600/500Kg/20 Km. 
   
   
3. Terminal Charges (MT) - Min TWD 100.00, TWD 5.00/per Kilo (Min- 300kgs) plus TWD 1.5/K on excess from 301kgs. 
   
   Customs warehouse fee, valid within 3 days from date of entrance.
   
   
4. FORKLIFT (FL) - TWD 250 / 15 Minutes
   
    If one or more of pieces of shipment over 60 kgs/pc, it is necessary to use forklift service. An official payment for loading / unloading at airport.
   
   
5. C.A.S. (RC) - TWD 200.00 per shipment.
   
   Customs clearance automation system
   
   
6. EDIC (EDIC) - TWD 40.00 per shipment.
    
   Electronic Data interchange charge.

2. Special Charges

A.         OVERTIME FEE - TWD1,000 for shpt value over USD5000, TWD500 for shpt value under USD5000.

An official fee pay for executing after official hours and during national holidays.

B.         ESCORT FEE - TWD 300 per shipment
A customs fee pay for shipment in bond transit.

C.        Export Permit - 0.3% on Value (Toys, Textile, Sun Glasses, Rubber products, etc.)

D.        Chamber of Commerce (Certificate of Origin) - TWD 250 Per Shipment

3. Advanced Payment Charge

    5% per month based on the amount of Advanced Payment.

4. C.O.D Fee: MIN USD 30.00; 3% OF C.O.D Amount

Bond truck is requested no matter whether or not the shipment is large enough. TWD 1,800/1.5 tons bond truck for TPE/CKS Airport.
